Creative Lead, Marketing / 2019 - Present

  • Brand Development: Led the company rebrand from stealth and drove the brand refresh in support of a high profile product launch into new business verticals.

  • Creative Strategy: Spearheaded innovative content development for high profile product launches and marketing campaigns across social, digital, events, partnerships, and earned media.

  • Series C Funding Deck + Announcement: Led the design and visual storytelling of our investor pitch deck in partnership with senior leadership within a compressed timeline, securing $200M funding at a $2.1B valuation.

  • Leadership: Built out the design team from the ground up as we scaled and expanded into new product domains, developing a new motion graphics workflow.

  • Scalable Process: Instituted the first marketing prioritization process, established the design intake process, and drove adoption of new tools for increased efficiency.

Associate Art Director, Marketing  /  2017 - 2019

  • Leadership: Manage and mentor the marketing art team of 17 designers with skill sets spanning across visual design, video, photography, and illustration.

  • Brand Management: Champion brand consistency across all channels within MZ’s portfolio of games and mobile ad-buying agency, Cognant. Cognant clients include: Airbnb, Yahoo, DoorDash, DraftKings, and more.

  • Creative Direction: Oversee visual development and execution of owned and paid marketing channels including: digital media, email, brand, social, web, and app store optimization (ASO).

  • Mobile Acquisition: Create and iterate innovative assets via data analysis and market input to scale top-5 grossing mobile apps across multiple paid channels. KPIs measured include: click-thru (CTR), conversion (CVR), and lifetime value (LTV)

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Clearly and persuasively communicate design rationale to key stakeholders of multiple teams such as product, brand and business development.

  • Branding and Positioning: Led branding and design visions for traditional and multimedia product launches and campaigns including: large-scale events, email, web, trailers, UI/UX, and product education.

  • Desktop & Mobile Web Design: Led the creative team in strategic redesign of all Disney TV & Radio websites, enhancing technical capabilities to drive engagement.

  • Brand Experience: Evolved and maintained tone and voice for top verticals such as Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior, and Disney Insider websites.

  • User Experience: Worked with cross-functional teams to define and design new web features based on guest personas and usability testing. Key metrics included: duration (time-on-site), bounce rate, page views, and engagement.

  • Visual Design: Led design and optimization efforts for UI based on best practices and focus group testing.

  • Mobile Prototypes: Developed concepts for executive team for partnerships with Feature Animation, Parks & Resorts, and Studio divisions.
